Work packages
Four work packages, ten activities and a 24-month timeline across Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal and Serbia.
The project is organised in four work packages. Every partner leads at least one activity, and the coordinator, Selena Info Ltd., is responsible for overall management, quality assurance and reporting to the National Agency.
WP1 · Project management
WP2 · Case study
WP3 · Product development
WP4 · Meetings & dissemination
WP1 · Project management
A management body with a project manager, financial officer, quality and evaluation manager, and a dissemination and communication manager. The Project Coordination Committee (PCC), established at the first partnership meeting, oversees decision-making, quality control and risk management. Six strategic documents guide the work: partnership agreement, implementation plan, interim reporting rules, monitoring and evaluation strategy, risk management plan and the finalised budget.
WP2 · Case study
A preparatory phase that gathers the data the development team needs. It identifies challenges and needs in VET digitalisation, the skill set required by tomorrow's labour market, barriers to adopting VR/AR, gamification and green practices, and the readiness of institutions, educators and learners for the digital and green transition.
- Workshops (Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Bulgaria; 20.10.2025 – 10.12.2025) – one workshop per country with at least 10 participants each: VET trainers, students, employers and policymakers. Common guidelines, agenda templates and evaluation methods are provided by Beyond Borders ETS; each partner runs pre- and post-workshop evaluations and one survey.
- Analysis of the results (Bulgaria; 23.11.2025 – 14.02.2026) – a research team with a representative of every partner consolidates the national reports into a structured research paper with clear guidelines for the development team and a policy recommendation brief.
WP3 · Product development
The core of the project: the InnovateVET digital guide, delivered as a self-paced online course with interactive modules, VR simulations, gamified exercises, AI-supported personalised learning paths and scenario-based assessment, complemented by a flipped-classroom model for in-person workshops.
- Development of the work methodology and product framework (Portugal; 15.02.2026 – 31.05.2026, lead WE ARE Lda.) – defines objectives, content structure, learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
- Product development (Bulgaria; 01.06.2026 – 20.02.2027, lead Selena Info Ltd.) – design and technical development of the guide, adaptable across sectors and practically applicable for students and educators.
- Content integration (Serbia; 01.02.2027 – 20.08.2027, lead KLUB ZA OSNAŽIVANJE MLADIH 018) – organising content into modules, units and lessons with clear learning objectives, interactive exercises, self-assessment quizzes, real-world case studies and multimedia resources, in all four partner countries.
WP4 · Transnational partner meetings and dissemination
- First transnational partnership meeting – Sofia, Bulgaria, 12–15 October 2025. Establishes the project roadmap, roles and responsibilities, the Project Coordination Committee and the six strategic documents.
- Second transnational partnership meeting – Portugal, 16–19 November 2026. Reviews progress, identifies challenges and plans the final phase.
- Final dissemination and popularisation event – Bulgaria, 23 September 2027, with localised events in every partner country: presentations and interactive sessions with educators, policymakers, industry professionals and students; at least 10 social media publications, one article in local media per country and a project video published on this website.
